Service Description

CO₂ laser stretch mark reduction is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment designed to improve the appearance of stretch marks on areas such as the stomach, arms and legs. Using controlled CO₂ laser energy, the treatment targets the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen remodelling and skin regeneration. Stretch marks develop when the skin stretches rapidly, causing collagen and elastin fibres to break. CO₂ laser treatment works by creating precise micro injuries in the skin, triggering the body’s natural healing response and encouraging the production of new collagen. This process helps improve skin texture, firmness and tone, reducing the visibility of stretch marks over time. The treatment is suitable for both newer red stretch marks and older white stretch marks. Treatment settings are customised based on the area treated, skin type and severity of stretch marks, ensuring results are progressive, natural looking and tailored to the individual. All CO₂ laser stretch mark treatments are carried out by Joanna, an experienced aesthetic expert with advanced training in laser technology and skin anatomy, ensuring safe treatment planning and precise delivery. Pre Care Advice Avoid sun exposure, tanning and sunbeds for at least two weeks prior to treatment Avoid retinoids, exfoliants and active skincare for 7 to 10 days before treatment Do not attend treatment with active skin infections, cold sores or inflammation Inform your practitioner of any medical conditions, medications or recent skin treatments Arrive with clean skin free from makeup Procedure A full consultation and skin assessment is carried out prior to treatment. The skin is cleansed and the CO₂ laser is applied in a controlled manner to resurface the skin and stimulate collagen production. The procedure typically takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on the treatment area and intensity. Aftercare Advice Expect redness, warmth and peeling during the healing process Avoid makeup until advised by your practitioner Avoid heat, exercise, saunas and steam rooms during early healing Avoid direct sun exposure and apply SPF daily Follow all post treatment skincare instructions carefully
