IPL vascular lesion removal is a non surgical treatment designed to reduce the appearance of visible blood vessels and redness caused by vascular concerns. Using intense pulsed light technology, the treatment targets haemoglobin within the blood vessels, causing them to safely collapse and be naturally reabsorbed by the body. This treatment is effective for concerns such as thread veins, broken capillaries, facial redness, spider veins, rosacea related flushing and vascular lesions on areas including the face, neck and body. IPL selectively treats the affected vessels while leaving the surrounding skin intact. Results improve progressively as the body clears the treated vessels. Multiple sessions may be required depending on the size, depth and severity of the vascular lesion. Treatment plans are fully customised based on individual skin type and concerns. All IPL vascular treatments are carried out by Joanna, an experienced aesthetic expert with advanced knowledge of light based technology and skin vascular conditions, ensuring safe treatment and optimal results. Pre Care Advice Avoid sun exposure, tanning and sunbeds for at least two weeks prior to treatment Avoid retinoids, exfoliants and active skincare for 5 to 7 days before treatment Do not attend treatment with active skin infections, inflammation or broken skin Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to treatment Inform your practitioner of any medical conditions or medications Procedure A consultation and skin assessment are carried out prior to treatment. The area is cleansed and protective eyewear is provided. IPL light pulses are delivered to the skin to target vascular lesions. The procedure typically takes 15 to 45 minutes depending on the area treated. Aftercare Advice Avoid heat, exercise, saunas and steam rooms for 24 to 48 hours Avoid sun exposure and apply SPF daily Avoid alcohol for 24 hours Mild redness or warmth is normal and temporary Follow the recommended treatment plan for best results
