Laser tattoo removal is a non surgical treatment designed to safely fade and remove unwanted tattoos using advanced laser technology. The laser works by delivering targeted energy into the skin, breaking down tattoo ink particles so they can be naturally eliminated by the body’s immune system over time. This treatment is suitable for removing both professional and amateur tattoos of varying colours, sizes and depths. Different ink colours respond differently to laser energy, and multiple sessions are required to achieve optimal fading or full removal depending on the tattoo’s age, colour and placement. Laser tattoo removal does not damage the surrounding skin when performed correctly and allows for controlled, progressive fading. Treatments are spaced several weeks apart to allow the skin to heal and the body to process the broken down ink. All laser tattoo removal treatments are carried out by Joanna, an experienced aesthetic expert with advanced training in laser safety and skin treatment, ensuring treatments are performed safely and effectively. Pre Care Advice Avoid sun exposure, tanning and sunbeds for at least two weeks prior to treatment Do not apply fake tan to the area Avoid active skincare products on the area for 7 days before treatment Do not attend treatment with active skin infections or broken skin Inform your practitioner of any medical conditions or medications Procedure A consultation and patch test are carried out prior to treatment. Protective eyewear is provided and the laser is applied to the tattooed area in short pulses. The procedure time varies depending on the size of the tattoo and typically ranges from 15 to 45 minutes. Aftercare Advice Keep the area clean and dry Avoid heat, exercise, saunas and steam rooms for 24 to 48 hours Avoid sun exposure and apply SPF once healed Do not pick or scratch the treated area Redness, swelling or blistering may occur and is temporary
