The treatment is gentle, pain free and suitable for most skin types. LED light therapy facials are effective for concerns such as acne, redness, pigmentation, fine lines, dull skin and compromised skin barriers. Results improve with a course of treatments and can be combined with other skin treatments for enhanced results. All LED light therapy facials are carried out by Joanna, an experienced aesthetic expert with advanced knowledge of skin health and professional facial treatments, ensuring the correct light settings are selected for each individual. Pre Care Advice Avoid active skincare, retinoids and exfoliants for 3 to 5 days prior to treatment Avoid sunbeds or excessive sun exposure before your appointment Do not attend treatment with active skin infections or irritation Inform your practitioner of any skin conditions or medications Arrive with clean skin free from makeup Procedure A full consultation and skin assessment is carried out prior to treatment. The skin is cleansed before LED light therapy is applied using a professional medical grade device. The light is placed over the face and left to work for a controlled period. The treatment takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes and is relaxing and pain free.
